Unfortunately, Melkor was in another courtroom fighting his case for release from the void and saw Frodo. After Sauron had sent him 50,000 postcards from Mordor Melkor, of course, knew that Frodo had the ring, and so gave chase!

Fortunately, the man did it on accident, Melkor woke up with no hard feelings and they began to discuss what it would be like to be an ugly duckling, the man actually helping by keeping Melkor from thinking about much else...

Unfortunately, the man was really Saruman (Who has probably died numerous times already in this thread, but has been reincarenated just as many times!
 ), who was learning an awful lot of dark things to do to Middle-Earth!
