I can't imagine feathers of any kind being on the fell-beasts. Feathers are just so, I don't know, soft and harmless. Something you stuff a pillow with.

I picture them with leathery or scaly skin, very dinosaurish, but not necessarly pterodactyl.

As for names, I can think little. I am not that proficient in Elvish, Rohirric or anything else. But "Morhawk" tickles my funny bone, at any rate. [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]
