Hrmm....she was definitely talking to the Nazgul. Now - as for the "fell creature" I remember it being described as a bird without wings, it's skin rubbery, it's neck long and having terrible talons. Well, as I've seen time and time again, I always thought it was a pterydactil. You know, the prehistoic birdie that looked more reptile than fowl?
