Last night, my sister and I were quoting the TT...we often quote random movies before trying to sleep. Anyhow, we came to the part where Aragorn comes up to Legolas and Gimli on the wall at Helm's Deep before the battle begins. And, having not seen the movie in some time, all we coudl remember was Legolas's line, "Your friends are with you, Aragorn." Will somebody please tell me what the other lines in that short part is? I know for a fact that Gimli at least says one thing, and maybe two.

And since I should add a topic that can be continued, I was wondering what all your thoughts were on Gimli merely being a humor releaf person in the movies. That guy's a good actor, and Gimli was a cool character, but they mostly used him as a funny chap.

I think the scene goes:

(Aragorn walks up)

Gimli: "Well lad, whatever luck you live by, let’s hope it lasts the night."

Legolas: "Your friends are with you, Aragorn."

Gimli: "Let’s hope they last the night."

As to discussing Gimli there are quite a few threads on that already.
