I still think that maybe what happens once people get to a certain level, they might get to 'pick their own' status so to speak.

Surely, if the 'gaps' one has to cover get wider as points get higher, then eventually, everyone will be up at the same level?

Maybe they'd wait until they are at the very presence of Eru himself, whom they could have already asked to officiate the ceremony.

That seems to me already happening, at least at a smaller scale. When I look at the Members List arranged descendingly in terms of reps, more and more people get a certain rep standing at the same time.
