No offense, Sugar. Yes, I am female. I am rather short, enjoy the Downs, and have long hair.

Gil-Galad is... 6'? He has blue eyes, brown hair, and is a bit too hyperactive in school. *hides under computer desk*

Man, I swear that we are either:
~identical twins seperated at birth
~one of us is a clone and doesn't know it
~somehow, one of us (probably me, cause I'm too strange) is actually an identical "self" that came from an alternate dimension

The only differences I've noticed so far is:
~Height, one of us is taller (I won't say who.)
~I think I look "okay" in green, except I look like one of Santa's Elves on vacation from the North Pole because of my hair color.

I think even if I read this thread from the very beginning, and all 26 pages in between, I would retain my generic images. There's generic teen boy, generic teen girl, generic college boy, generic college girl, generic adult boy, and generic adult girl.

You all have slightly unkempted light brown hair, and unilluminated eyes so I don't know their color. The teens are scrawny, college kids are still scrawny because they have no money, and by adulthood have put on perhaps more than healthy weight. The girls' hair goes between end of shoulder blades and end of back, and the boys' from normal to shoulder. Those of you in the Near-Sighted Elves Society have thin rimmed glasses.

And we all have an air of this site being about the only place where we can discuss Tolkien how we which to.

Haha, mark12_30, actually when I was in Tahoe during the summer I did find a horn very similar to Boromir's. I was at this indian/cowboy western store. It is this white ivory, with a bronze trim, all I could think about was "my horn :drool:" and I couldn't pass up the oppurtunity of getting it.

shelob , a bit like the infamous inktomi slurp spider but illuminated by the iridescent green light that emits from your computer. You also enjoy eating odd food combinations, like peanuts and chocolate milkshakes. You're very thin and waif-like. You don't walk so much as scuttle and you have a weird obsession with penguins.

Nilpaurion Felagund , you wear an 18th century noble's garb on a daily basis and have a british accent. (Despite the fact that you're not British.) You like rabbits, especially those from Mirkwood. You will only eat caviar and live in a palace.

wilwarin538 , another Mirkwoodian rabbit lover. You look like a butterfly and spend most of your time in gardens, smelling flowers. You flit around and don't take things too seriously. You love sweets and only drink purified nectar. You spend most of your time in the twilight reading Wuthering Heights and LotR.

I have no idea why...

Short and stout, Mark can often be spotted in Trafalgar Square, at the Colisseum and at Notre Dame with a fanny pack, a ridiculously outdated Agfa Pioneer box camera, and a blob of white sun-screen spread incongruously on her nose. At first glance she may look like your average annoying American tourist, but a closer look reveals details to the contrary: a pair of expensive French glasses rest atop her neat, salon-styled hair, and in her fanny pack, where a normal tourist would carry a cheap traveler's guide, she keeps only a Bible (I couldn't resist) and a few scribbled notes from her last European adventure. She speaks with the slightest southern twang, and she has an infectious, if somewhat cacophonous, laugh.

Here's how I imagine some of my fellow members...

Boromir88- I see a bearded 40-year old drinking beer in an old, worn out tan chair and dividing his attention between his computer and the football game on tv.

Estelyn- Despite the recent avatar switch, I still imagine her as the Shrek princess.

Kuruharan- He's Gimli, smack out of the movie.

Eomer- I picture him as Karl Urban with a kilt.

Mister Underhill- I try to get an image of him, but he's always wearing a trench coat and a hat with the brim pulled down over his eyes.

The Barrow-Wight- I imagine him as a Nazgul with a slight greenish glow. His presense can be terrifying, which makes it all the funnier when he pulls from beneath his cloak, not a Morgul knife, but a humorous comment.

Child of the Seventh Age and Bethberry- For some inexplicable reason, I see them as the same person- this lady that used to work with me at Kohl's department store.

Well....uhm....thats very imaginative.

But also very wrong. Well most of it atleast. I do like sweets, I dont take thinks very seriously and I read LotR. I've never read Wuthering Heights and I dont look like a butterfly. That would be creepy.
