Brightness of a Blade

Here follows a less clever question.
Who of the fellowship journeyed the longest distance during the Quest? (to make it clearer: taking into account only the Great Years 3018, 3019, 3020)?

Now I'm just guessing here, but I think it would be Gandalf - but you must consider the Quest beginning with when Gandalf advised Frodo to leave the Shire with the Ring. And I hope you don't mean under their own power (walking)?
I'm at work and sans mon livre. So his journey is: From Bag End to Isengard, from Isengard to Rivendell, from Rivendell to Lorien, from Lorien to (some believe to Amon Hen, but I don't) Fangorn, from Fangorn to Edoras, from Edoras to Helm's Deep, from Helm's Deep to Fangorn? (the movie is getting me confused), from Fangorn back to Helm's Deep, from Helm's Deep to Isengard, from Isengard to Minas Tirith with a stopover somewhere in Rohan, from Minas Tirith thru Ithilien to the Morannon, from the Morannon to Mount Doom, from Mount Doom to Ithilien, from Ithilien to Cormallen, Minas Tirith, etc. from Minas Tirith to the Gap of Rohan and on to the Tom Bombadil's, from Tom's to Rivendell? from Rivendell to the Grey Havens - NOPE that's after 3020 - never mind.

Yes, you are correct! At least this is my conclusion too. So unless someone decides to challenge that, the thread is yours, Lostgaeriel

I sure hope I'm not repeating a question on this thread.
I just let my book open to a page at random and amazingly there was a statement that fits under the 'rules' of this game: Who had the longest reign of all the Kings of Gondor? (And for a bonus, what was the wisest thing he did? Just give your opinion - there's nothing definitive - I'm sure we'll agree.)

I believe it was Hyarmendacil I, who reorganized Gondor's armies, openly declared war on the Haradrim, and defeated them. This is when he took on the name Hyarmendacil, meaning "south-voctor'. He reigned for 134 years.

Sorry, Celebriel Esgaledhel, that's not correct. There was a King of Gondor who reigned longer than 134 years.
Here's the question again: Who had the longest reign of all the Kings of Gondor? Bonus question: In your opinion, what was the wisest thing he did?

It was Tarondor, and he reigned for 162 years.
The smartest thing he did? Moving the King's House from Osgiliath to Minas Anor.
