Mine is definitely Eowyn and Faramir. In the movie, they're like night and day, like, she's saying that the cold is evil creeping up on her doorstep, and then Faramir says, "It's just the early spring rains." They are such a cute couple!

I'd also put in a vote for my mum and dad...Hurin and Morwen, that is.
They complemented each other well in their characters and had a very equal, understanding relationship. |

I have to go for Faramir and Eowyn too .... cos I wanted to be Eowyn and I'm still looking for my Faramir :P ..... But Aldarion and Erendis is a fantastic story of when it all goes wrong - almost the flip side of the Faramir /Eowyn coin.
I don't go for the Rosie/ Sam one... I just want to slip some Greer or De Beauvoir through a timewarp.... Excessive childbearing and a husband who puts you second all the time. I mean the second Frodo says he is going West ... Sam wants to go... he doesn't give Rosie and Elanor a moment's thought. Grrrrrrrrr I think the saddest love story is possibly of Finduilas's love for Turambar.
