HINT: It's an alternate name of something that you've heard of, but Brownhay was only used in HoME.

If I start out from the place that was 'three days from the Black Stone' and travel to some culumalda trees; then traveled to where Merry saw oak trees off to his right; then went to an 'elf-haven' and finally to see the Ethir Anduin.
What then, general geometric shape did I make in my traveling, and what places did I visit?

The place that was 'three days from the Black Stone' - Linhir. The grey company arrived at Linhir on the third day after they set out from Erech with the company of oathbreakers.
