Uh, yeah, so .... back on topic...

Let's see... what else do I love about the Downs? Oh yes, it provides a nice distraction from silly mundane things like English homework. Plus, I love it when you discover that other people are into the same dorky things as me, ie Pink Floyd, Monty Python, Hitchhikers Guide, and so forth. Makes me feel less alone in the world.

I'm almost offended that you'd think those things are dorky.

Actually, I love that I'm not the weirdest one lurking here. Unless there's something I missed, I'm at least a little normal in this crowd...

but then may be that is another glory of the downs that there are younger people who regard your youthful obsessions as a cult rather than merely tragic!

I just thought of something else... I love the fact that it's got a black background... nice and easy on the eyes, especially late at night.
