I can't think of anything in particular, but as I've thought about what it would be like to sit by the fireside with Elrond and the Elves of Rivendell, and listen to the music going along with the tales, I picture such instruments as flutes, classical guitars, and mandolins being played. (perhaps violins also. Bag pipes?). The Elves seem to me to be simple folk, and I imagine a kind of happy folk music, and a few jigs.
