Well, Bethberry, if I use all the willpower of my imagination I can see him as thus, save the image of him teaching a roomfull of students. I cannot picture that

As it happens *wiping tears from his eyes* I have been described, by more than one student, as (and I'm quoting from an old teaching evaluation here) one who "bounces around the front of the class like a puppy when he gets really excited by a poem, which he does a lot".

At least I'm house trained.
