Strength Competitions
-------------------------------

Hanging from the broken Bridge of Khazad-Dum (longest time wins)

Hanging in the heart of Mount Doom (longest time gets most points [wins])). One-handed hanging doubles your points!

Other
-------------------------------

The Peg-Pounding Event (How quickly can you bang all the pegs in the Party Field into the ground?)

The Beacon of Gondor Climb (How quickly can you climb to the top, light the beacon, & make it back down?)

Marksmanship
-------------------------------

Rocks- Hit the stuffed Gollum in the head & win!

Rocks- How many Uruk-Hai can you hit in 1 minute?

Apples- Hit the stuffed Pippin in the head & win!

Rings- Throw the Ring in the tiny Lava Lake & win!

Kicking- Take turns kicking Gamling's beer over-whoever gets him the wettest wins!

I could think of a few marksmanship competitions involing Gimli & a few Uruk-Hai, but I don't think I'll include those

HMMM......My vision of Middle-Earth Olympics is each race would have it's own team representing it. I don't quite know who would judge it though. Perhaps the Eye because it can see so well.

---Some Events---

Ale Chugging- Each team selects a member to compete to see who can chug the most ale, and see who can hold their liquer the longest.(The Hobbits are favored to win with the Elves bringing in a close second.)

The Middle-Earth Classic Dance Contest- Self explanitory. (Is's looking to be a tough competition this year with the Wizzards bringing in their own unique style of break-dancing,the Hobbits funky chicken dance, and Boromir, the reining Disco King of Mankind)

There would have to be a staring contest.
A really intense game of hide and seek.
A dwarf toss.
A Ring hunt.Whoever gets it to Mordor first wins!
A Nazgul dodge.
For the torch running, I like the orc running to blow up Helm's Deep idea

oh yeah and mace-ball....for Sauron. Like at the beginning of the FotR, where he starts randomly slamming people around.It could be a sport
