Fan Fiction Moderator(s) Needed - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

We've picked two moderators for Fan Fiction:

Imladris and Son of Númenor

Please join me in congratulating them on their new positions.

Many thanks to the members who volunteered but were not chosen. There was quite a variety from new members to people who have been around for years. The choice was hard, and I greatly appreciate everyone who volunteered. Look for Fan Fiction to improve significantly in the very near future.

An excellent choice was made, I think! I look forward to how the community will grow and improve. I believe there is enough interest, as you must have seen from all the vonlunteers who wished to moderate the community, Barrow-Wight, for the community to flourish.

Many congrats to you both, Imladris and Son of Numenor!

I hope to submit work soon. My summer days could easily be filled with writing...

Thanks to those who have written to congratulate Imladris and I, and to wish us good luck in our endeavour. And, of course, I would like to thank the Barrow-downs administration for giving us this opportunity.

I'm getting all warm and fuzzy inside. I'd better go lie down.

I'm sure there is nothing immoderate about either Imladris or Son of Númenor as Moderators.

Welcome to the both of ye and let me find some time to organise a happy hour for mods on the Chat Room. I'm sure we are due a shipment of Old Toby and some fine cider or ale. Or, given the season, some watermelon punch. Really, there is a sizable helping of hobbit in me, I swear.
