This probably doesn't count, but did anyone go completely balistic when they saw the LOTR references in Shrek 2.Or am I the only one?

Yeah Shrek 2 rocked, I really liked the bit with the...oh wait, some of you haven't seen it yet, I won't spoil it for you then.
 Okay, not having that evil smilie around is really getting on my nerves.  This should probably go in a different topic, but I can't think of which one at the moment. Anyway, I was in church this morning and we were singing the last hymn (the last verse to be exact) and I mistook one of the words to be "precious." Even as I was singing it I knew it wasn't the right word; plus I immediatly thought of Smeagol and nearly burst out laughing. Quite embarrassing when you happen to be the pastor's daughter.

Anyway, in it, Georgia roundly bashes elves and LOTR parties, which hurts me but we still love her. I'm sure the author was just staying in character and doesn't actually think that. It's still hilarious anyway, go read it.
