The Mission of Elros and Ellrohir

She didn't want to live in Middle-earth anymore and took ship to Valinor (I do not know if she lived or died their).

Well I don't think that she would have died, because she was an elf of course. But most likely what happened when she reached Valinor is that she was healed of all her hurts that she had received while in Middle Earth.

Didn't the mission that Elladan, Elrohir, and Aragorn go on while the Fellowship was Rivendell have something to do with the wars that the other races of elves were at the time involved in because of the growing forces of Sauron?

For some reason that is what I have always thought they were gone for.
