Okay, i think that the way Tolkien finished ROTK was the sweetest way that anyone can end a book!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that part! I've read just that a thousand times and cry every time!
I also cried when Gollum almost turned good, then Sam suspected him of sneaking - that was mean of Sam. Sure, he was protecting his master, but STILL!!!
