I mean, she fell asleep forever or something! She's one of my favourites...But anyway, it has to be Turin. I was really upset the first time I read Beren and Luthien, (When Beren shows his missing hand) but Turin's story was much much worse. I wouldn't count Lalaith as a very tragic figure, but I do count Niniel.
