[The Saucepan Man]

Dear Wendy

Having a great time on holiday. The sun is shining. We have spent a lot of time in the swimming pool. We took a boat ride round the coast yesterday and saw a puffin. We also went fishing and I caught a mackrel. We plan on cooking it for dinner tonight.

Today we had lunch in the café. An oriental gentleman served us. I tried the shark’s fin (*arf*) in white wine. Tomorrow I may try the shark’s fin in black bean sauce. All they seem to have on the menu is shark’s fin.

Golfing is on the agenda for tomorrow. Then, after that, we’ll see how we feel.

Ron dearly misses you.
