I was surprised to find out, how many historical war movies there are /are coming into theatres. Have there always been so many such films or has LotR made some kind of trend of war? At least both King Arthur and Troy seemed to have _HUGE_ battle scenes...
But I don't think that neither of this two will threaten LotR's position as a...well, what is it? One of our time's greatest film epics?
