Pippin in this movie was great! I wasn't surprised by his good singing (have the soundtrack). I think the interaction between him & Gandalf worked very well, & it was, in some ways, good to see Pippin alone without Merry.<BR>The Palantír scene was good I think - PJ needed to convey how dangerous the thing was in a short while, without slowing the pace of the movie.
