Well Diamond18 you are right. PJ went to Miramax to do a "Hobbit" movie with Warwick Davis (If you don't know him, he's Willow from "Willow"). Miramax took one look at the 75 million dollar price tag and said no! PJ took it to New Line and got about 300 million.<BR>As for the idea that "The Hobbit" is being already made into a movie I think is not true. As a moviefan and I do a lot of checking out film sites and I have heard nothing. <BR>My thoughts are this...you want to see Tolkien fans writing the script (I know PJ is, but does he know everything there is to know about LOTR and Hobbit...not sure).<BR>I have to admit that I have started on a "Hobbit" movie script for my own enjoyment...and I also have to admit that when it's done (if I get it done that is) I am gonna try to send it in to PJ (Wingnut Films Ltd).<p>[ October 16, 2002: Message edited by: Aragorn_the_Ranger ]
