The Scouring pointless? Never. I mean I can see why they're not putting it in the movie, it would probably disrupt the flow of the whole, epic ending purpose, but I will really really miss it. It was one of favorite parts. I loved how all of the Hobbits got together to fight for their land. Merry and Pippin were at their finest. <P>Elanor is going to be in it? Wow, I didn't know that. That is quite the time lapse. I'm really excited to see Rosie again. Am I the only one that really liked her in FotR?
