Does anyone know? <HR></BLOCKQUOTE><P>In FotR (possibly just the extended version?), just before the Fellowship leaves Lothlorien, Celeborn tells Aragorn that orcs that could travel by day had been seen on the borders of their realm, ending with the wonderful line "You are being tracked". But I don't think he actually referred to them as Uruk-Hai. Perhaps it means "New, improved Orcs" in the Black Speech.
