The Return of the King will be the best of the three. The battles bigger, the stakes grow higher and every step towards Mordor gets harder. I personally can't wait even though I have the Two Towers right here to see.

quote:
"To me, it's a culmination of the entire story; it represents what it is to give and what it is to lose," he says. "That scene is probably the most powerful part of the entire film."

See PJ gets it. Ive said all along as long as the movie ends with the Grey Havens then all is good. I will bet there will not be one dry eye at the end of this movie. And I can only imagine what marvelously sweet and somber tune Howard Shore is composing to compliment it.
'Where are you going, Master?' cried Sam, though at last he understood what was happening.
'To the Havens, Sam,' said Frodo.
'And I can't come.'
'No Sam.'
and
"Well, here at last, dear friends on the shores of the Sea comes the end of our fellowship in Middle-Earth. Go in peace! I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are evil."
Heartbreaking.
[ December 31, 2002: Message edited by: GreyIstar ]
