Ah, slow motion. Don't you just love DVD players?

The scene in Moria where Frodo is stabbed takes over 2 min in slow motion. Then I paused at a certain moment in Moria, turning a gory scene into a hilarious one.

As for Gil-Galad, I didn't even notice that was him until the last time I saw the movie. I stopped watching for a moment and thought, "Wait, is that Elrond or Gil-Galad." I saw stills of Gil-Galad on the extended DVD, so I knew that it had to be him.
