I posted this topic, but I just realized I never put my own opinion. <P>Well, I think my favorite performance was by Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf. He was so authentic. Also, Sean Bean who played Boromir did very well, too. I wish Boromir did not have to die, so that he could be in the next two movies. Sean Astin as Sam was my favorite Hobbit, and Elijah Wood was a really good Frodo. Also, Orlando Bloom made a good Legolas, since the way he moved and looked seemed so much like an elf. Christopher Lee made a good bad guy as Saruman, and finally, Viggo Mortenson was exactly what Aragorn needed to be. I'm glad they cast him at the last minute instead of that other guy. <BR> <BR>In the next two movies, I'm looking forward to seeing all of the Ents. Also, I can't wait to see more of Gollum's personality up close. Oh, and I want to see Eowyn, Faramir, Denethor, and the list just goes on and on. <p>[ January 27, 2002: Message edited by: dernhelm ]
