Olo Gamwich has just left Hobbiton.
Thumbs up

I didn't laugh or cry either of the times I saw the movie. I was so interested in following along with the story, comparing it with the book, and watching the awe-inspiring effects that I hardly felt any emotion. My sister (who has not read any of the books) laughed at all the things that weren't supposed to be funny - she was constantly making fun of the way Gimli looked and was the only one to laugh (meaning laugh VERY LOUD) when Aragorn cut that Uruk-Hai guy's head off at the end. My dad actually laughed at one part when he went with me the second time...it was when, for no reason, Pippin says "Merry....I'm hungry".
