I am aware Tolkien himself was not adverse to possible adaptations of his work,and that's all well and good. But I am not he,and simply don't think it should be done. <br> The primary purpose of writing things here is of course to express opinions. Taking issue with the opinions of others is fine. If everyone agreed all the time things would be pretty boring.
