Hearing Kalia enter, Sorell whirled around, wincing from some injuries which still had not healed. He approached Kalia slowly.
"Nayru isn't here." he whispered.
"So what?" asked Kalia, puzzled.
"So Amyn was here. And she's gone." Sorell continued, his silver eyes feeling like they were burning into Kalia's own. She stepped forward and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"You're not making sense." she frowned. Sorell lifted his head to the ceiling and smiled, his eyes now closed. He resumed his staring position.
"So Amyn is out there" he waved a hand at the windows "in full view of the guards!"
Kalia gasped and ran to the window.
