Aman smiled admiringly as the elf leapt up and defended Elenna. Not such a pompous midget after all then...
Alatiriel stepped up beside her to watch.
"Dwarves?" The witchs surprise was evident in her voice. "Anyway, I was called over by Elenna, although she now seems occupied."
"Aye my friend, and she wishes us to be occupied with her! Are you any good at making speeches?" Ala paled and Aman almost laughed. "My thoughts exactly Ala! Plus, Im not sure they would be to keen on having 3 "lasses" making speeches."
However, it seemed they were to be spared that pleasure, as Elenna was finishing and the army was preparing to move. In unison the witches breathed a sigh of reief...and sure enough, Elenna started to introduce them.
"Oops. I think we may have just jinxed what could have been a piece of good luck!" Aman muttered.
"Aye, and we did it without even doing a spell!" Ala smiled anxiously as they stepped onto the platform
