Nostawen had been sitting at the table with Lanith, Elwen and the others for some time now. She had said very little and was feeling uncomfortable, something that Elwen had picked up on.

"What ever is wrong?" she questionned, "you have not seemed the same since you reached here, are you sure you arrived safely?" Nostawen smiled back to her friend to reasure her.

Taking a sip of her water she turned to Lanith, "Why don't you tell us a tale? You must have travelled far to reach the Shire,as have we all" The others at the tabled nodded in agreement with her. "How is it that you end up in the Green Dragon then, did you travel with purpose to this land?"

Lanith smiled back at the maiden and taking a sip of his own drink, began to tell a tale...
