Tallin leant her back against the wall, releasing her concentration. In the end she hadnt tried to speak to Raye. She had heard the end of the conversation between her and Araglith, who she presumed to be the top elf.

She stared reflectively at the ceiling. Raye really killed for fun? And so proud of it too it seemed...and why did the woman hate her so much? Well, perhaps not any more, but why had she...

Tallin dropped her head into her hands as she dropped into sitting position. So many thoughts spinning around were making her head ache even more. Well, it was a foolish attempt anyway; Raye was human, she probably wouldnt have been able to reply, even if she had wanted to.

Her head shot up. Hwesta! She still had that hope. And there was a slim chance, such a slim chance, that the elf would be able to reply, but it was still there.

"Hwesta?" She searched gently for the girls mind, repeating her name. Got it!

"Hwesta?" She felt the girl sit straight upright and grinned to herself.

"Who are you?" She cried, her voice still shaking with tears. Tallin could just hear her speaking aloud through her mind.

"Its me Tallin"
