Donlamir looked back on the group which he was leaving, then back to Pherdur the soldier with whom he would be travelling with back to Minas Tirth and he thought,
" What if we don't arrive with reinforcements soon enough. The few remaining would surely be found and killed."

Then a voice called to him. "We'll need to get a move on if we are to be successful in bringing aid" It was Pherdur already starting the first leg of their journey.

He was accompanied by the newest member of their group a young lady Evren , even in these conditions still very good looking.

"I'm coming now” He replied trying not to sound too brash.

"Pher..." Don’s voice trailed off as he could no longer see his travelling companions. He started again but this time he aimed his question at the leader of their company Fededhor. “Shall the provisions that we are taking be minimal or enough to compensate any detours which we may need to take”

“Take enough rations for all of you then some more about two day’s worth, but I’d hurry or you’ll never catch up with your group”

“I didn’t think Pher was one for waiting” chuckled Don then in that same moment turned and was gone into the trees.
