Some girl you've never seen before taps you on the shoulder and asks if it's true that you can speak elvish (I replied with 'shut up' in Sindarin. She was very impressed, especially when I told her that I'd said 'yes, my lady' [img]smilies/evil.gif[/img])

You go through your sister's HP books, crossing out the word 'elf' wherever it is misused and repacing it with 'pixie' (she caught me at it and tried to make my parents make me rub it out. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img])

You converted your cousin from HP to LotR. (I think she was just so sick of not knowing what I was talking about)
