the scores are weighted by the number of posts of the rater...

If you have more posts, your ratings have more weight on the person you are ratings score

I don't know why its like that. Maybe its in case someone came on and rated everyone badly just randomly-hardly fair, but it happens. Their ratings therefore count for less than someone who has been on the site for nigh over a year, has over 1000 posts and thinks carefully before awarding a rating, due to long term analysis.
