The Ring of Barahir was given to Barahir by Finrod Felagund as a token of their friendship and a tangible reminder of the oath that Felagund gave to Barahir the day the Elf'lord was saved from certain death in battle by Barahir. Beren held the Ring aloft as a "surrender flag" when he went to Nargothrond on the Quest of the Silmaril to show that he was friendly. It saved his lfe from the guards and he and Finrod went to the Isle af the Were wolves. The story goes on and the Ring of Barahir is an heirloom of Beren's house. Dior to Earendil to Elros and on through the Kings of Numenor and the Kings of Arnor and the Heirs of Isildur to Aragorn. The Ring is said to be made in the form of two serpents with their heads intertwining at the top of the Ring. iI think it's green. well that about all i know about the Ring of Barahir. o and it was made in Valinor.... i think...
