c) I really don't think 'to see if they might come from wolves' is as difficult a sentence as people are making it out to be. It's a direct working-from-home synonym for 'I've been checking my coworkers to see if they might be wolves'.

The explanation is clear: the wolves are stirring this up to try and mislynch me! :O
