I would tend to say that Guys like Fantasy more than girls. Think about it, big wars, and fights, in LOTR you have to read the appendix to hear about any love story. I believe that fantasy is great, but a lot of girls prefur romantic novels. I will agree that with the movies, the number of girls interested in fantasy has increased, but so has the number of boys (Eowyn, Arwen).
