People kept telling me the other movie based games for LotR were not very good

I've played the book based FotR (wish they'd made the sequels!) and The Hobbit. You think this'll be good? Do you have to pay monthly or anything? (looking through the videos at the moment. Bet they'll answer both my questions, lol). Graphics looks like it wont run on my pc anyway
