I am sure that there is a thread on this somewhere, but I couldn't find it. If you know where it is, please post the link. Meanwhile... what did you think were some of the funniest lines in the movies? (Don't post them all, this thread will be taking up too much room.) I'll post a few... one for now In the extended version, when the Fellowship comes to the Gates of Moria, I like this exchange: Gimli: The walls of Moria! <The company rounds the lake. Gimli taps on the wall.> Gimli: Gimli: Dwarf doors are invisible when closed. Gandalf: Yes Gimli, their own masters cannot find them if their secrets are forgotten.
