So many people had come into the inn and it was getting stuffy inside, Ruth went outside for a breath of fresh air. Breathing in deeply, the wind pushed her long brown hair off her face. There was no one else outside and she felt very alone.

Walking to the stables she found her horse,Lid. Stroking him gently she felt comforted and yet there was something in the back of her mind that was tormenting her. Looking inside Lid's stable she could see something shiny lying in the dirt, moving closer she picked it up to see that it was a pendant.

It was extremely beautiful, a bright blue gem lay in the middle while silver patterns surrounded it.

Lookind at this, Ruth gasped and broke down into tears. 'This is a sign, I have to go' She told herself and without another word she led Lid out of the stable and galloped of, not knowing if she would ever return.
