Quote:
Let me point out that the arbitrary murder of innocent Gondorians would be a bad idea because that is running the risk of uniting the Gondorians against the corsairs. It also might give the Gondorians the idea of killing corsairs, and as heartless as some of us are making the pirates out to be (:rolleyes , I'm sure they'd mourn the losses of their own brethren. Let's consider the corsairs' community for a minute. (Like the Wreckers of Scotland who survived on pillaging ship wrecks. Or cannibals whose ways are loathsome but second nature.) The corsairs are men, human. They feel love and compassion just as they feel hate and greed. For the sake of a fun and untraditional RPG, let's throw away the concept that the corsairs are solely killing machines or lumbering thieves and let's work to bring out their true human side. I wanted to try something different from the Good vs. Evil plot. So let's give it a go. Thank you for checking in those of you whom I PMed. Brinniel I hope you feel better soon! Flus are no fun!
