Elrond wears dress-robe kind of clothes, he (being an elf)would never be caught wearing jogging bottoms, he would also never be caught wearing a feathered dress [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] , birds have feathers, Eagles are birds, Gwaihir is the lord of the eagles.
