Denethor is creepy in the books. I mean, come on, the guy is a complete looney. By the Valar! I don't know how anyone can deal with him at all.

Hear, hear! Denethor is the scariest book character, in my opinion... and I just can't wait to see how he is portrayed in the movie! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Scariest movie character is harder to choose. Hmm... I'd have to say Lurtz. Not only is he physically freaky, but any living creature that actually pushes itself onto a sword blade and looks like they ENJOY it need some serious help.
