Since we are the only registered users of this board so far, I guess it's up to me to answer this one!

Beater and Biter were the goblin names (in Common Speech, of course) for the elven swords Glamdring and Orcrist (or was it Orcrist and Glamdring? <img src=rolleyes.gif ALT=":rolleyes"> ).
