LIG versus LING - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

Ok, so this has probably been hashed over before, but why don't we get organized? LIG, of course, stands for Legolas (meaning the movie-version) is Girly. LING? Well, you can guess that.As to the purpose of this thread, your mission as either LIG or LING is to offer evidence in picture or verbal form for your repsective side. I will add that I am a LIGer. Let the debate begin!

Lig and Ling? I have actually never heard that before. I always just called him Lego for short. Where did Lig and Ling come from? I'm quite curious...

Well, LIG versus LING started a little after the release of FotR. It became almost two separate organizations, the purpose of either group being to defeat the other side and spread their view across other boards. I'm just now getting to the Downs with this topic, he he.

The sensible course of action would be to forsake both LIG and LING and start LIE - Legolas is Elfy(Elfish? Elvish?), since the first two organization are both off the mark.LIE! LIE! LIE! Elrond, too!

Are we to expect a LIG/LING/LIE grunge war in the near future? We could place bets, a trifecta of sorts. I might also add LIS into the mix ("Legolas is Sindarian") or LIGIF ("Legolas is Greenleaf in French" / "Legolas is Grateful it's Friday). Then we could get a real Battle of Five Armies going. (And so on, the possibilities for polarization are endless!)

Yes... that... could be... interesting... erhm. Perhaps revisions are in order, LoL. Anyway, I just wonder how many Nazgurls we have here, and what methods of torture they might use on me and those who agree with me...
