Not quite certain if this topic fits in this section, but here are those riddles I found in an rpg game. I've been thinking about it a few days now. (and i don't know the answers)

	1. I am as cold as death, and not breathing air. Never thirsty, but ever drinking Covered in mail, but never clinking What am I? 2. A warrior amongst the flowers, he bears a thrusting sword. He uses his life to defend his golden hoard. What is he? 3. We capture light, and yet we don't. We reflect rays of sun, and yet we don't. Without us all the world is gray and dull. What are we? -- my guessed "sky" 4. Until I am mesured, I am not known. Yet how you miss me, When I have flown. What am I? 5. Never tired, never still. Moving quietly from hill to hill. Does not run or even walk, life it gives and sometimes take, when its hand is gone you feel the chill it leaves behind. What is it? 6. I make you weak at the worst of times, but iI keep you safe from hights and crimes. I make your hands sweat, and your heart grow cold, I visit the weak, but seldom the bold. What am I? 7. What can run but never walks, Has a mouth but never talks, Has a bed but never sleeps? What am I? 8. White bird featherless flyin out paradise flyin over sea and land dyin in my hand what is it ? This could be terribly wrong but that last one could be a wheelbarrow... or something similar agian. Two arms to lift and push it with and two feet being the stands. and it carries stuff...

3 could be EYES, but I´m not sure.

And I think too, that five could be shadow, but 'live it gives and sometimes takes' dosen´t fit so good.

"moving quietly from hill to hill"...hmm doesn't sound like love :/ I agree with fear, time, and river...oh and fish of course

gives life but takes it...sounded kinda like heat or sunlight moving across a cloud filled sky, would also fit the chill after it's gone good luck with them

Yeah, 5 can be rays of sunlight..

And for my earlier post here.. 3 sounds more than skys, I now believe, but it sounds as if there could be a better answer...

Yes, colours sounds good, Joy. There can be dark colours that capture sunlight and lighter ones.

That´s the right answer, i think.

I am a diamond, white and shiny stone, you can see me, but never alone, you can seek me, but will not find me nigh, never live, but will yet die, what am I? ps. I'm not sure about the nigh, but I think you see my point anyway.

Yes, Maikadilwen, fire is right. But for the other, moon isn't quite right but I guess I have to give you right Lostgaeriel, star is correct. It can't be the moon because:

you can see me, but never alone, and here's one more: I have many fingers, but no hands, I go across the world, to foregin lands, yet do I not walk not run not fly, I can be short and I can be high, in many ways i help thee, yet do you kill me, what am I?

And here's one more if you figured out the last one:

You carry me since the first time you met me, but I am not heavy on your shoulder, and not carried on the back by thee, but can still be more burden than a boulder, when you try to catch me I flee, and when you run from me I hunt you, everywhere I follow thee, but sometimes look for me you do, I can cause laughter and I can cause a tear, I bring joy and fear and sorrow, eveytime and everywhere, I'm a thing you can not borrow, but nothing lasts for ever and one day, I will not be by thee, I will go my own way, and noone will ever find me, what am I?

hmmm... I'm gonna say a shadow because "when you try to catch me I flee, and when you run from I hunt you" like a when the sun is in front of you and you chase your shadow but when it's behind you, it's like your running from it. I don't know there are some things that don't sound like a shadow but what the heck, I tried.
