Song lingers in turmoil and in anguish long... Aka the song is 50% finished, and approaching the cool part where they start to sorta sing over each other and squeeze twice the lines in the same amount of space. I am not thrilled with it... In particular the second stanza was written with an array of different audio tech, and now when I listen with my standard earphones it sounds weird. But I think that on the whole it's singable.
When it goes to the final "about", right at the end of the scored part, I wasn't sure whether it would be 2 syllables vs 3 (a-bout vs a-bo-ut). I feel like 2 sounds more natural, the "ut" doesn't
really stand alone as a separate sung note, so I can make sure that the music can accommodate that. Thoughts?

I feel like at this point it's only long because of the dragged-out speed it's taking lately. If only we could get the tempo from the good old days back, this all would be done in a season.

I feel like that's me as well, which is part of the reason I keep saying that ideally I would re-score or re-sing basically everything. Though realistically I have limited my remaking gusto to just 2 pieces, the rest being optional.
