Perhaps he thought the Dark Lord and his Black Rider minions wouldn't see when he tried to put it on three feet away from on of the Nazgul...go figure. Also, I doubt an arrow being shot into the Black Riders cool looking steed would stop the Black Rider from calling his buddies to the scene (although it might've put <I>HIM</I> out of the action, remember: Legolas killed on of the 'beasts on wings' by shooting an arrow into him.) <p>[ April 26, 2003: Message edited by: The Only Real Estel ]
